+++[Golgotha Crossing Scenario 1 - Running the Crossing]+++

In this scenario, Imperial (w/ Eldar allies as an option), are trying to get supplies through the crossing to one of the other warp conduits.  But Chaos is lying in wait, attempting to thwart them.

Forces:

D6+2 Transports (free).  Forces protecting the transports get a base 120pts, + 150pts/2 transports.  Maximum of one cruiser (regular or Battlecruiser, no Battleships), points permitting.  The opposing forces receive a base 175pts of ships, +150pts/2 transports.  Chaos may only take one cruiser (Heavy Cruiser or lower, no Grand Cruisers or Battleships), points permitting.  The allied forces can split their forces however this wish.  If Orks are present, they may take 100pts worth of escorts for every two transports, no Kroozers.

  Battlezone:

Use the Golgotha Crossing generator.

Setup:

Make three warp conduit counters (they are about twice the size of a nova cannon template).  Place one counter in the middle of the short side of the table, this will be the entry point.  Place the other two on the opposing corners on the opposite short side, these are the exit points.  Place the force with transports w/in 25cm of the conduit template.  The opposing forces may setup anywhere at least 75cm from the entry point and 20cm from one of the long sides of the table (either side or both).  If Orks are present, they setup the same as the opposing forces.

First Turn:

The opposing forces go first.  They are assumed to have detected the anomalous readings of the convoy exiting the warp conduit and have moved to ambush.

Victory Conditions:

At least two transports must make it to through one of the exit points.
